Competitors display a foundation of muscle which gives shape, fullness and good symmetry. Bikini competitors should not display deep muscle separation, striations or graininess. 

Symmetry in both muscularity and conditioning. No body part overpowers another. Upper and lower body conditioning equal overall.

Figure competitors should not be over-conditioned displaying graininess as seen in Bodybuilding.

Competitors have more lower-body muscle development compared to the upper body through the hips, glutes, hamstrings, quads and calves. The upper body is developed but not to the same degree as the lower body. Wellness competitors should not display striations.

Competitors have a toned, athletic physique showcasing symmetry, femininity, shapely muscle, poise, and a graceful presentation. Leanness is to be expected but not to the degree of the striated bodybuilding level. The emphasis is symmetry and this should take priority in judging over extreme conditioning. Competitors will compete in a two-piece suit and no shoes. 

Competitors have symmetry and muscularity with a balanced proportioned physique top to bottom, front to back, side to side.

Judges are looking for muscle mass, shape, conditioning, hardness, abd separation.

Competitors should have symmetry and muscularity proportion with symmetrical leanness top to bottom, and muscle separation without an overly dieted appearance.

Competitors have overall full muscularity,  balance, lean fit physique with good symmetry in both muscularity and conditioning, but not to the degree of bodybuilding. Judges are looking for a small waist with good V-shape from the shoulders to the waist. There should be abdominal definition and tight from all angles. Should display visible muscle separation and conditioning without striations.

Competitors are between the ages of 13-19, and can compete in any of the classes mentioned. Teen competitors can be at any level of experience and must be between this age range on the date of the competition to compete.
